Plans and Pricing Pick a training slot Upcoming T-Fit Events No events at the moment T-Fit Class Breakdown Time: 1 hr WARMUP + HYPE SONG (5 minutes) Class begins with a warmup involving simple low intensity movement to warm the body, isolations, and dynamic stretches. If time allows, we include a stand-alone “hype song” to further set the stage for an incredible fitness experience like none other! ACT 1 (20 minutes) Our first block of choreography is taught with music throughout and builds move by move as we fine tune it through each repetition. Each song builds off the next, providing an opportunity to insert texture and style to the choreography! INTERMISSION (5 minutes) No popcorn here, just a low intensity combination to bring the heart rate down and prepare for the second act. ACT 2 (20 minutes) We learn a second block of choreography in the same progressive style. CORE (5 minutes) We leave our mark on this workout (literally) as we bring our beautifully sweaty bodies to the floor for Pilates work! The objective is to incorporate lower abdominal breathing to support the spine and improve recovery and breath technique for our actors seeking vocal breath conditioning! COOLDOWN (5 minutes) We relish in our final cooldown song with slow movement to bring the heart rate down followed with a full body stretch. This is where we soak in all the benefits of seeing this workout through with all its highs and lows and we CELEBRATE! Explore Other Services Are you a beginner? She’s a vocal coach, choreographer, personal trainer, black belt, mom, and more. SUMMER PROGRAM 6-Week Summer Program Put your students to work over the summer and see what happens to the level of your theatre program in the coming school year! The Summer T-Fit program is marketed by the district and paid for by participants. As a host, your theatre department will receive 30% of the revenue! This 6-week program consists of 2 classes a week. Each week includes a different dance and vocal technique focus and objective offering an affordable and more specific program to improve your students' knowledge, skillset, and aerobic capacity! Emily McKinney is a multifaceted fitness professional. She holds a degree in Exercise Science and has combined fitness with her skills and experience as a performer in musical theatre! She’s a vocal coach, choreographer, personal trainer, black belt, mom, and more. WHO IS EMILY MCKINNEY? Meet Emily... Emily McKinney is a dedicated fitness professional, choreographer, and vocal coach based in Waxahachie, TX. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science, along with certifications from NASM and AAFA, and has over a decade of experience in the fitness industry. Emily leads a variety of dance, boxing, strength, yoga, and aqua classes, drawing from her extensive training in tap, jazz, ballet, modern dance, and martial arts. She is also a black belt in Taekwondo and participated in the swing team at BYU, where she received advanced training in modern dance, vocal performance, and components of choreography. In Theatre Fitness, Emily integrates her diverse movement background with her passion for performance. Among various musical productions and operas, Evita remains her favorite role, along with her performing mission in Nauvoo, Illinois, where she performed over 500 shows in just four months. The demanding nature of these long performing runs and roles inspires her programming to prepare actors for the physical challenges of professional performance through her Theatre Fitness program. She is currently serving as clinician for high schools and universities, offering specialized workshops in choreography, vocal technique, and stamina. Her exceptional coaching style and motivational approach empower students to reach their full potential.
